With Geronimatz in the July 2021 Research Breakthrough, Pokémon Go players finally had something to be excited about. After all, the months before looked very lukewarm in terms of the developers' "creativity" when it came to choosing research breakthrough rewards - and August also left die-hard fans rather sighing.

The Psycho Pokémon Palimpalim may be rather rare, but it doesn't give much else. From a collector's perspective, it's one of those Pokémon you catch for the record - no more, no less. So the research breakthrough with Palimpalim as a reward is more of a lull, and we're hoping that September 2021 may hold more in store again.

Remember that you have until August 1, 2021 at 21:59 to catch another Geronimatz from the research breakthrough, should you have completed and redeemed field research on seven days - these days do not have to be consecutive, by the way. Because at 22:00 local time on 01.08. the baby eagle will flutter away and Palimpalim will make your ears ring (if you know what we mean ...).
