Pokémon Go: Problems in the shop for Pokémon Go Fest 2021

Pokémon Go Fest 2021 is just around the corner, and on July 17 and 18, 2021, players plan to really let it rip. But will they be able to? Because just now, on July 14, 2021, the developers of Pokémon Go warn of a problem that may affect one or two trainers: Items purchased in the shop take up to 72 hours to appear in the item bag.

Pokémon Go Fest shop bug

The developers at Niantic are already on the trail of the cause of the problem, but specifically warn against the bug, especially now, for Pokémon Go Fest 2021. On the one hand, you will of course receive consumables such as smoke and star pieces, as well as boxes, but also Pokécoins and tickets for events.

The makers of Pokémon Go note in their overview of known issues that the bug in Android version 0.213 of Pokémon Go has been mitigated, but not fixed - as the root of the evil has not yet been tracked down and a final fix for PoGoFest is unlikely.

If you are indeed affected by the bug, especially when purchasing an event ticket, here's what to do: "If you haven't received your item after more than 72 hours, or if you can't access an event due to this issue, please contact support with your purchase receipt, including the order number and email address that matches your Pokémon GO account." The customer service representatives will then try to help you as soon as possible.

Annoying, though, that this problem is occurring now, of all times, for the Pokémon Go big event. We hope you don't have to suffer from this bug.
